Dr. Srujal Shah

Dr. Srujal Shah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) who limits his practice exclusively to the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring at Spark Sleep Solutions. He earned his DDS from the University of Southern California, holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, and completed a mini-residency in Orofacial Pain and TMJ Disorders at UCLA—bringing a unique medical-engineering background to patient care.

First introduced to the field through Stanford-trained sleep physicians and neurologists, Dr. Shah solidified the life-saving value of oral appliance therapy after successfully treating his own family—and himself. Today, his practice provides effective CPAP alternatives to a diverse clientele, including top national and international executives, public personalities, professional athletes, and public servants.

Dr. Shah previously served on the Clinical Advisory Board for SomnoMed, Inc. and has lectured and trained doctors nationwide in dental sleep medicine. Hand-selected by several medical groups and health plans to deliver precision care, he has served as a key opinion leader utilizing advanced technologies such as 3D digital scanning and printing, Carestream imaging, and MATRx by Zephyr Sleep Technologies. He maintains an active role in advancing both his expertise and the industry through continuing education, AADSM advocacy, and partnering with manufacturers on patient-centric oral device development.

Dr. Jouliana Davoudi

Dr. Jouliana Davoudi, is a graduate of USC’s Orofacial Pain and Medicine center. After earning her BA and MS from California State University of Northridge, she completed her DDS at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Her passion for Orofacial Pain and Medicine led her to pursue further education in this area. She has taken various courses, a mini-residency, and a full conventional residency at USC to deepen her expertise. Dr Davoudi is Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Periodontology, Diagnostic Sciences & Dental Hygiene at USC.

Driven by her interest in this field, she created a tool that can help clinicians treat patients more effectively. She is thrilled that her research won the “Most Disruptive Award” from the USC Stevens Center for Innovation and was accepted for oral presentation and publication in the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology paper. She is committed to advancing the field of Orofacial Pain and Medicine and providing patients with the best possible care.

Dr. Scott Stevinson, DDS

After decades of excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Scott Stevinson has expanded his clinical focus to address one of the most critical components of patient health: the airway. Having spent years treating the dental consequences of sleep-disordered breathing—such as tooth wear, grinding, and jaw pain—Dr. Stevinson recognized that he could offer a more profound impact by treating the root cause. By transitioning into sleep dentistry, he bridges the gap between traditional oral health and systemic wellness, utilizing his precision-based clinical skills to provide effective, non-invasive solutions for snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).

Dr. Kajal Patel, DDS

Dr. Kajal Patel is a distinguished dentist with over 30 years of clinical expertise and a deep-rooted commitment to the health of the San Jose community. A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Dr. Patel has dedicated much of her career to the intersection of dental health and restorative sleep. She specializes in identifying airway concerns and treating sleep-disordered breathing through Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT). By collaborating with a network of healthcare professionals, Dr. Patel ensures that every patient at Spark Sleep Solutions receives a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan designed to eliminate snoring, manage sleep apnea, and restore daytime vitality.
